Keeping a safe environment
Our main objective is to provide sport in a fun and safe environment for children!
Although accidents can happen we believe the 6 week school holiday should be a time for children to have fun and getting injured is not nice for any child, so we endeavour to do our best to ensure each child’s safety. Some things that we will be doing to implement your child’s safety include:
Our Football games we will ban sliding challenges and insist Children stay on their feet when making tackles.
Assuming the ground is fairly hard, as it usually is in the summer, we will ask children to play in trainers or astro trainers (no big stud football boots).
Cricket/Rounders will be played with a Tennis Ball.
We will always have adequate numbers of first aid trained Coaches on site.
Equipment
We supply all equipment, however for Tennis, Children may wish to bring their own rackets with them. We recommend putting their name on the racket. We supply rackets for those that need them.
As mentioned earlier we will not be allowing slide challenges or long stud football boots, however we would still recommend those that have shin pads bringing them for extra protection.
